
Alicia has had a calling to work in healthcare for as long as she can remember. From 2008 to 2015, Alicia worked in Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Certified Nurse-Midwife in Chicago, IL. She has a true passion for supporting women through pregnancy, labor and delivery, and the postpartum period. She has a special interest in helping women with postpartum depression and traumatic birth experiences.
For Fun | Alicia enjoys reading, working out, and spending quality time with her husband and their two children.
Amy is a Special Projects Nurse. She has worked in healthcare since 2005. Amy used her interpersonal and medical skills to move into business development. She also worked for a non-profit treatment center to care for pregnant and postpartum women struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
For Fun | Amy enjoys spending time with her 5 children and 2 precious grandsons. She can be found running trails and hiking with her beloved German Shepherd, Greta.
Ela has been a Women’s Health Nurse since 2015. She worked in Labor and Delivery for years, is a childbirth educator, prenatal & postpartum home visiting nurse. She loves supporting families through the beautiful, challenging, and transformative process of birth. She is especially passionate about mental health and self-care during life transitions (for example pregnancy!). Ela is bilingual in English and Spanish. She enjoys being a part of this unique and supportive community that Wellhop has created.
For Fun | Ela enjoys hiking in nature, spending time with family, cooking delicious food, having meaningful conversations, and using laughter as medicine.
Katy has been a registered nurse since 2015. She has worked on labor, delivery and postpartum units in the hospital setting, as a public health home visitor for pregnant women and their families, and as a prenatal educator teaching childbirth, newborn and breastfeeding classes. She especially loves working with the Wellhop team because when moms have a chance to gather with others in the same season of life, magic happens. She feels grateful to be a part of that.
For Fun | Katy enjoys exploring the northwoods of Minnesota with her husband and two little boys and trying new recipes with her sister.
Linels is a bilingual Lactation Consultant and birth doula. She facilitates a culturally appropriate prenatal class for the Spanish speaking community and is a preceptor for a HBCUs Lactation Consultant training program in her home state. Linels joined Wellhop to promote meaningful, respectful, and real support for families. One of her main goals is helping to navigate the transformative period that begins with pregnancy until the end of the fourth trimester.
For Fun | Linels loves walking natural trails with her beloved rescue furry daughter, Lola and spending time with her amazing nieces.
